We don't store your text. We don't track you. We don't sell data. ElastoType processes your text and discards it immediately. That's it.
Nothing you type. Text you process through ElastoType is sent to a third-party AI provider for inference and is not stored by ElastoType at any point.
Subscription status. If you're a Pro user, we store a device identifier to verify your subscription status. We use Lemon Squeezy for payment processing — we never see or store your payment details.
No analytics. ElastoType does not include any analytics, usage tracking, or telemetry. We don't know how often you use it, which commands you run, or anything about your usage patterns.
ElastoType requests Accessibility access to read selected text and write results back in place. This data stays on your device — it is used only to pass the selected text to the AI provider and write the result back. It is never sent anywhere else.
We retain only your device identifier for subscription verification. You can request deletion at any time by emailing support@elastotype.app.
If we update this policy in a material way, we'll note it in the changelog and update the date at the top of this page.

By downloading or using ElastoType, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
ElastoType grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the software on your Mac devices. The license is tied to your Lemon Squeezy account for Pro users, or to the device for free users.
The free tier is provided as-is with no guarantees on availability or rate limits. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits at any time.
Pro subscriptions are managed through Lemon Squeezy. Billing, cancellations, and refunds are subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms.
You may use ElastoType for any lawful purpose. You may not use it to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights. We are not responsible for the content you generate using ElastoType.
ElastoType depends on third-party AI services. We are not responsible for downtime caused by third-party service providers. We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantees.
ElastoType is provided "as is" without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from use of the software.
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted in the changelog.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
